This is an Android Auto takeover! Sounds like you've got the opposite problem of most folks fighting against forced AA, not trying to get it to work! It's like Kona thinks it owns your phone's data plan. The fact that we can't disable AA without nuking Waze is seriously weird. Anyone else experiencing this aggressive and always-on AA behavior? There's gotta be a setting somewhere to disable auto-launch, right? I'll try digging into the head unit's Bluetooth settings, or maybe checking for any hidden AA preferences within the phone itself. Maybe a factory reset of the head unit or a new "feature" we're stuck with?

To turn Android Auto off, you gotta go deep into the car's menu, 'Connections,' and tap that dumb grayed-out icon. And it's so annoying, it just randomly shuts off, and I'm always turning it back on.
