I've had my Kona for a month, and I'm already dealing with this 'Electric System Fault' and a warning light. Even after they checked it out, the problem's still there, and the dealer's just giving me a bunch of vague guesses. I'm really wondering if anyone else has run into this, and if disconnecting the battery is something I should try.

Disconnecting the 12V battery is a common troubleshooting step for some electrical issues, but it's not without risks. I've been wondering about the specific procedures for these kinds of resets. Since it's an EV, there might be specific procedurs you need to follow to avoid damagng the system. I'd strongly recommend consulting your owner's manual or contacting Hyundai's customer service before trying this. I've learned that caution is key with EV electrical systems

Of course, try disconnecting the battery first

That's straight up garbage. Electrical problems are a pain especially on EVs. I haven't heard of that exact fault but I wouldn't touch that battery myself. You could really mess things up especially with all the fancy electronics in these things.
