can’t lock my Kona EV from the outside when plugged in

I just got my 2025 Hyundai Kona EV, and everything has been great except one thing, I can’t lock the car from the outside while it’s charging.

Key fob works fine when the car isn’t plugged in.
It lets me lock it from the inside, but not from outside.
The car beeps and gives a warning, acting like the key is still inside or the car isn’t off.
Is this a Kona EV feature, or is something wrong? Has anyone found a way to lock the car from the outside while it’s charging?

There is a setting in the vehicle settings you need to change, the 'auto lock'. For some reason, it defaults to not allowing exterior locking while charging. Took me weeks to figure it out, lol.
