I’m about to take my UK-spec Kona Hybrid Ultimate to France and Switzerland, and I need to adjust the headlights for right-hand traffic. However, the manual is a bit unclear. It states that the asymmetric beam may dazzle oncoming drivers. Then it contradicts itself by saying no adjustment is needed.

Has anyone successfully switched their Kona’s headlight beam pattern for driving in Europe?
Is there a menu setting or manual adjustment?
Do I need beam deflectors, or is the car already designed to work both ways?
Will this affect automatic high beams or adaptive lighting?

If you’ve driven your Kona in opposite-lane traffic, I’d love to hear what worked for you.

I don't think you have to change anything. I never had to drive on an opposite-lane traffic, though. Maybe someone else knows better.

Changing your headlights for driving in Europe can be confusing. Your car's manual probably doesn't help much. You'll likely need to use stick-on headlight deflectors to avoid blinding other drivers. Your Kona probably doesn't have a setting to change the lights automatically. Get deflectors made for your car and follow the instructions. This shouldn't mess up your automatic high beams. If you're not sure, it's a good idea to get a mechanic or someone at the ferry port to put them on for you and check your headlights.
