Interesting idea! I haven’t seen anyone successfully install a performance chip in the Kona EV, but I’d love to know if it’s possible. Since EVs rely so much on software optimization, a tuning chip might not work the same way as it does in gas cars. Have you found any specific chips that claim to work with the Kona?
I haven’t found any chips specifically for the Kona EV either, but I agree that the software-driven nature of EVs makes traditional tuning chips tricky. I haven’t come across any confirmed successful installs yet.
