How do the standard speakers in the Kona Electric sound?

I’ve got a Kona Electric on my radar, but I’m curious about the standard factory speakers (not the Bose ones). How do they sound for everyday use? I’m not an audiophile, but I’d like something that’s decent for podcasts and music on road trips. Are they good enough, or should I consider upgrading?
 
I have the base model Kona Electric with the standard audio system. It's decent for daily listening but I felt it was missing some bass and clarity. Maybe instead of opting for the pricier trims with the Bose system, try to add a compact under-seat subwoofer. That will significantly improve the sound quality without breaking the bank.
 
Seriously, the standard sound in my ‘24 Kona is straight-up garbage. It's like a major downgrade from my old ride, and it makes listening to music and podcasts just awful.
