Had a strange thing happen with my Kona EV yesterday. It just wouldn’t start, so I tried messing around by putting it in reverse (thinking maybe that’d kick it into gear), but then it popped up with a 'Press P to start' message. Even hitting the P button didn’t do anything. Ended up shutting the car off for a minute, and when I turned it back on, it worked fine. Anyone else ever had this happen?

I haven’t experienced that, but it sounds like a glitch. Restarting seems to have reset the system, which worked.

Perhaps wait for software updates to address potential minor glitches and improve overall performance.

It's just a minor glitch, something that happens with my non EV cars too. The good thing about EVs is that you can receive updates to fix it.
