Dashcam Cutting Out in My Kona Hybrid

Hi. I’m having some trouble getting my dashcam to work consistently when plugged into the 12V outlet in my 24 Kona Hybrid. It keeps cutting out randomly; which is pretty annoying.

Do you guys think there's a limitation with the 12V outlet, or maybe an issue with the battery? I'm kinda iffy about hardwiring it since I don’t wanna mess with the warranty.

Anyone have any thoughts or advice? I’d really appreciate it!

Just a heads-up, the power outlet in your Kona only stays on when the car’s running; so it's not a constant power source. That’s probably why your dash cam’s been cutting in and out.
Just figured I’d let you know before you start thinking it's broken or something!

It could be a power issue with the 12V outlet, which may not provide constant voltage. Consider a hardwiring kit or check with Hyundai for potential warranty-friendly options.
