Spare Tire for Kona Limited FWD

I found one on eBay for around $500. It's an 18" wheel from a limited edition model, but honestly, it’s pretty much the same size as a 19" wheel. Kinda disappointing for the price, but at least it fit perfectly in the trunk.

    Experiencing battery drain

I've been experiencing a slight battery drain issue with my 2024 hyundai kona recently. I brought it to the dealership for diagnosis, but they were unable to pinpoint the cause. Through some online research, I discovered that there might be a component known as an "air conditioning dryer" that...

Can't find shift lock on Kona

AFAIK, nothing like that exists. But to hit Neutral, just follow this sequence: If the battery’s totally dead, you’ll need to jump-start it to power the electronics. For AWD rides, you’ll need a float or dollies for towing. FWD? Just lift those front wheels and you’re good to go. For more...

Is the Kona Electric speed limit warning a dealbreaker?

There is been a lot of similar complaints about false warnings and lingering roadwork limits. It seems like a software issue they need to address

    2024 Kona camera issues

I’ve had that happen with my Kona too! It could be a sensor issue or dirt you can't see. Try recalibrating the camera or check for obstructions near it.

iPedal replaced by "AUTO", but it is not the same

The "AUTO" sign now replaces iPedal, which used to let me slow and stop just by lifting off the accelerator. Now, the car still slows down, but it won’t come to a complete stop, making true one-pedal driving impossible. It feels less intuitive and takes away some of the smooth EV experience.

Turning off passenger airbag on 2024 kona electric

Just a heads-up, if you wanna turn it off for good, the dealer can totally handle that for you. But honestly, it’s a solid safety feature to keep on by default. If you’re not in a rush, it might just be worth leaving it as is.

Will 18" rims from a Tucson fit on a 2024 Kona?

Looks like they’ll fit. Just double-check the tire sidewall height to make sure they clear the suspension components.

Hyundai buyback for my lemon Kona

Hyundai’s finally taking my lemon ‘24 Kona Limited off my hands after a series of glitches and dealer dead-ends. Anyone else get a buyback? Was the offer fair, or did they try to lowball you? They’re keeping the details on lockdown, of course, but I’m thinking of adding a little extra to grab a...

    Electric System Fault

I've had my Kona for a month, and I'm already dealing with this 'Electric System Fault' and a warning light. Even after they checked it out, the problem's still there, and the dealer's just giving me a bunch of vague guesses. I'm really wondering if anyone else has run into this, and if...
