Hello everyone, I have a question.

The oil life indicator on my 2024 Hyundai Kona is already at 60% even though it has only 620 miles on it. Does anyone know the possible cause of this? Is this typical for brand-new Hyundai cars?

Hey there, I’ve seen this happen with new cars before! It’s not necessarily a big deal. This could be down to a pre-delivery error where the oil monitor wasn’t reset when the car was prepped for sale. It’s not super common but does happen. You can usually reset it yourself in the vehicle settings, but if you’re unsure, a dealer visit should clear it up. Hyundai systems can sometimes be a bit quirky! 🤷‍♂️

Hmmm that’s unusual for such low mileage..It’s possible the oil life indicator was reset during service or calibration might be off.
